Giavanna Salerno grew up as a competitive dancer and spent her entire childhood training, performing, and competing. She has trained in a variety of styles, including ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, lyrical, and hip hop. Miss Gia is in her third year on the other side of dance as a teacher, where she is now teaching dancers ranging from ages 3 to 16. She currently teacher Hip Hop and Beginner Contemporary at Miss Mare’s.
Miss Gia is currently a junior at Monmouth University studying Real Estate and Finance, with plans to continue my education and earn my master’s degree. She has been a member of the Monmouth University Dance Team since her freshman year. She currently proudly serves as Captain in her junior year for the 2026–2027 season.
Miss Gia believes that being able to bring passion, confidence, and love for performing to my students is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching.
